an interesting idea (originally, the president won the election and the VP was the second place guy), but in today's 2-party blind loyalties, I don't see too many voters voting for ';the enemy';, even as VPDon't you think it would be an ingenious campaign tactic to pick a running mate from the opposite party?
for ron paul i think it would be wiser for him to choose a democratic candidate to be his running mate, perhaps obama, because he doesn't fit in too well with the republicans. i think if he would've ran on the democratic ticket he might have had a better chance at the presidential nominee.Don't you think it would be an ingenious campaign tactic to pick a running mate from the opposite party?
Or it might give your party a reason to not vote for you.
Say Huckabee chose Clinton as a running mate. Just imagine that happening.
Hey - I jus said that on another answer - Edwards/Paul.
That question comes right out of the script from a television or movie -- can't remember which -- I saw not too long ago.
They would BOTH have to run as an Independant as neither party would support either... The whole reason for the dems to pick someone is to reinforce their own party, and the same for the Republicans.. Sorry I'd like it but they would never be electable.
