Why does McCain's campaign completely avoid calling itself Republican?

I've seen all these stupid ';Democrats for McCain'; signs everywhere but nobody seems to want to fess up that they were a Bush voter...





McCain even changed his whole color scheme to pale blue...





At a McCain rally in Florida, a woman was asked to stand farther away from the other supporters because she had a Bush sticker on her McCain sign... LOL


She got visibly upset because she didn't see anything wrong with that...Why does McCain's campaign completely avoid calling itself Republican?
That word has a negative connotation these days.Why does McCain's campaign completely avoid calling itself Republican?
Because the brand is smelling bad these days!! They don't want the stink on them. As if they don't reek of their own accord.





But this is a sign of their intellectual dishonesty. And of their contempt for the average voter. Thinking a cheap ploy like that would work.





Then again they did have a remarkable success at first with Palin...AND YOU DON'T GET MUCH CHEAPER THAN HER!!

Decent Republicans have revolted against McCain. That's why he has to use that lily livered Lieberman to campaign for him.


Btw I know this as a fact. I was a Republican. This year our Republican workers in our local campaign offices quit and now work at Obama's. Or not at all.
I鈥檝e said it before and I'll say it again, the Republican Party is grasping at straws.
Calling yourself an American is much better.



Its all about mind games at this point for them....otherwise known as a last resort.
