Denying economic problems and telling those depositors their loss is imaginary does not bring their money back.





And McCain keeps Gramm on as the Co-Chairman of his Presidential Campaign. Unbelievable.





How useless can a Presidential Campaign be to spew that kind of garbage at suffering Americans?';NATION OF WHINERS';/';MENTAL RECESSION';? Is the McCain Campaign here to just insult people or run for office?

Lastly, we have a adulterous husband and non-responsible father, running for President that Republicans would normally run away from and they are not. Versus a totally faithful husband and totally family responsible father in Barack Obama.

We are a nation of whiners! The housing market is in trouble, because people bought homes they couldn’t afford with “no down,” based on a low adjustable rate, and many lied about their income. Basically they bought what they couldn’t afford.





The high gas prices have to do with hedge fund traders and individual speculators driving up the price of oil.





All these people speak of how broke they are and yet Apple releases it’s new IPhone yesterday and they line up to buy it. They can’t afford the necessities, but spend their money on luxuries and complain.
What Gramm said was not meant as a McCain campaign statement. He clarified it himself, explaining that what he said was his own personal take, and had nothing to do with McCain's views or opinions, or his campaign.





I find it terribly ironic that in an election year, when everyone is examining who will uphold and defend the Constitution, anyone who opens their mouth (even non-candidates) and states thier opinions gets criticized so severely. Free Speech counts for them, too.
these comment are no better or worse than the obama comments about poor people clinging to guns and religion because they do not know any better. or michelle calling americans mean and just recently found a reason to be proud of america or even the embarrasment obama suffers from because americans speak only one language. is would seem obama is no better than mccain or his surrogates. wake up man and stop carrying the partisan torch.
All true. Unemployment 5.5% - Unemployment in the late 70s, 12%. Inflation, 3%, inllation during he early 1980s, 14%. Unemployment after the stock marker crash and during the great depression 26%.





Lets all buck up and count our blessings. I have been to probably 20 counrtries during my military career. I have seen families living in cardboard with dirt floors and plywood as a roof. Our lower class (in the US) normally have a/c, tv, and usually a car in the driveway and a roof over their heads.

When the economy fails it will be something a liberal did.

about us using too much energy, that we should turn our A/C down and use less heat.... we are spoiled!

Obama wants the US to give a huge proportion of its gross national product in the form of new taxes on us all to the UN which is islamically leaning and HATES the USA. We need to immediately escape the UN and AVOID the EU.
