Should presidential campaign contributions be limited or publicly funded?

This is a question I'm working on for a government report... I need to know many of the who, what, when, where, and why aspects of the issue... Does anyone know of some site sources where I can find information regarding the question?

Thanks in advance! :)Should presidential campaign contributions be limited or publicly funded?
The Supreme Court has already said that political contributions amount to free speech when it comes to contributing to various lobbying and political action groups that may support a particular candidate, and personal contributions directly to a campaign are already limited, so unless you are going to go through the process to amend the US Constitution, that's the way things stand.Should presidential campaign contributions be limited or publicly funded?
Just type in 'Campaign Finance Laws' or 'Campaign Finance Reform' on google, and you'll be in heaven.
I'M BEGINNING TO THINK SO,,,,,,,,
Thumbs up for public financing of ALL elections. Not just the presidential campaigns. Limit their funds so they don't have the money to try to buy public office, and get their hands out of the lobbyists' pockets and you'll see a lot less pork barrel spending. They're supposed to be working for us, but the reality is that politicians work for the people who are paying them, and that's the folks who donate to their campaigns . . . big business.

Greg: We don't need to amend the Constitution. We just need to get a reversal on the earlier ruling, which means justices who DON'T believe that having money constitutes more freedom of speech for the rich than the poor could ever have. In other words, we need justices who care more about the 14th Amendment than the political favors they owe to those who got them appointed to the court.
I don't know of any sources, but it should be easy to find some with a bit of googling... I personally think publicly funded elections are a great idea though. Give each candidate $X to use for advertising etc.... I also think that if your political party received a certain amount of the national vote the previous election each candidate should be given equal time on broadcast TV to make their case to the American people. It would get our candidates out of the pockets of special interest and would also allow third parties to have a better chance of winning some national elections.
Ask George Soros who owns the dems now, He has gotten almost 350 million for the dem candidate, by using 527's..

He is a troll..and is trying to ruin this country...
They should be limited to $5 per person, $15 per family. MHO
