With 24 hours to go, (EST time) what will you remember the most about campaign 2008?

OBAMA/BIDEN08!!!!!!

God dog it, please, to independents you see what Bush/Mccain economic policies do to our country. The country that you, and me, and Barack Obama, and yeah even John Mccain loves. Look at the last 8 years, and say, can I afford More of the same? With 24 hours to go, (EST time) what will you remember the most about campaign 2008?
That it is finally over

I would be in favor of a new law that says no campaigning earlier than one year before the primary.

PeterWith 24 hours to go, (EST time) what will you remember the most about campaign 2008?
I'll tell you what I will most remember.

I will remember that this was the campaign that taught every child who is a natural born citizen of these great United States, that there is no dream that is too big. There is nothing that they cannot achieve if they work hard, get an education and set their goals high.

There is not one little girl or boy, no matter what race they are, that can tell themselves anymore, ';I can't do that because I am ______';.

This campaign has had men and women, from many different walks of life and yes, even a bi-racial man (who has a good shot at being our next President) running in it.

This campaign has given our children hope. Hope that they can achieve anything, if they try hard enough and long enough.

And no matter what the outcome is on Wednesday, the hope that this has given to our youth is priceless.
I am glad that you are happy with your political alliance.

Both major parties have done foolish things, sometimes for personal gains and sometimes to just mess up the other parties plans, and we the people pay the price.

I was and remain heavily against us ever having gone to war with the wrong country for the wrong reasons, but I did not find Bush to be too different than most other politicians otherwise.
I will remember the inspiration such a historic election gave me. No matter what one thinks of Senator Obama or whichever way it turns out tomorrow, it's amazing to think that a young, half-black man ran on a major-party ticket and that he has come as far as he has. Senator Obama has brought together people of all countries, socioeconomic backgrounds, and ages, and inspired me personally as no other candidate has ever done. For the first time, I have cared so much about the outcome of an election that I've devoted hours to phonebanking and canvassing. Today, in fact, I went to my local Obama field office and phonebanked; there were lines stretching out the door just to get to a computer, and the place was packed. People of all ages and races were there; from black to whites and high schoolers to senior citizens. It was truly amazing, and no matter what happens tomorrow, that image is the one I'll take away from this election :)
I will remember most that this was the fall of democracy, and the first time in American history that voter fraud was perpetrated on a large enough scale that it pushed an otherwise unfamiliar and unqualified individual into office.

The secondary thought would be that the American press turned its back on the American voters for the first time in history and refused to cover the truth about this man.
What I'll remember: Palin implying that women who don't vote for her based solely on her gender will be condemned to hell, slander, someone leaving a flyer on my door with the wrong information about where my polling site is located (it didn't work), inappropriate and highly biased media coverage based on reporters' personal feelings rather than adhering to journalistic standards, negative campaign tactics, debates ran by moderators with the intent to cause strife and political infighting, a surprising amount of sexism and bigotry expressed from people I would not have expected to behave in that way, viable candidates who don't fit the traditional white male mold, of and that story about the twit in michigan who only handed out candy to children who told her their parents were voting for the candidate she liked.
i will remember the completly off base out of context, completly stupid questions from both camps posted on this website. im voting obama because when it comes right down to it i think he is the better man, but seriously, BOTH democrats and republicans have posted some stupid *** questions on this site this year. its WAY more racially charged and religion fueled than i ever remember any other election being and the questions i saw this year are UNFATHOMABLY biased and racist compared to other years. im not saying there were no questions that were good and legit, its just that there were TONS that were OBVIOUSLY asked with the sole intent to piss people off
I will remember that it got Americans - Black, White and all those in between talking to and about one another. Some of the talk was negative but most was positive.

I will remember that some things are only possible in this country. And that some little girl or boy, be them Black, White or in between will now say ';Oh yes I can!

I will remember it is a good time to be an American. And that my vote and voice does matter. Thank God I was there to see possibility in action!
Americans show their true colors when the fight is between race instead of using good judgement for a better world. Who cares if someone wants save the world from starvation I guess they'er a bad person for wanting to help at all.

ALSO REMEMBERING MCCAIN SAYING ';WE HAVE REASON TO BELEIVE THERES WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUTION IN IRAN';

DOESN'T THIS SOUND FAMILIAR? THEN INSTEAD OF ENDING 1 WAR WE END UP BEING IN 2.
that so many people supported a candidate that could not lead a horse to water. and dislikes christian people. the last 2years and 10 months have been the worst. if it wasn't for Bush and the few republicans in congress pelosi would have done more harm then she has. in a few months if McCain is not elected we will be in worst shape then even your imagination can pretend Bush did after all he did repeal Clinton's very large tax increase on everyone or did you forget that.
how rude and one sided and ill-mannered the democrats and news media were. i'm a democrat and ashamed of their behavior. McCain/Palin have their own agenda and are not to blame for what ever happened before. as for Mr Bush, I believe he did the best he could with what he had to work with. in the Bible it does say that worldly people will always be against Godly people.
That even after voter fraud, lies, threats, and all of that money, Obama still couldn't close the deal. And how proud I am of President John McCain, and Sarah Palin.
How sure I am that Obama is going to win (solid lead in all the polls), and how nervous I am that the republicans won't try to pull some shenanigans that steal the election for them again.
I'll remember the mass hysteria/fascination with Palin after she was announced as the Republican VP candidate, and the shift in focus to all the ridiculous things she's said. I'll also remember those hate-mongering rallies in October.
I will remember Aryes, Wright, Raines, Rezko, ACORN! If Obama institutes his tax plan during this economic times it will kill what economy we have left!
I';m gonna remember all the ranting and raving and crying McCain supporters who will probably NOT accept the fact that Obama will be THERE new President!!!
Other than the frankness, sincerity, and depth of Obama's very successful bid, I will remember the idiots who have posted such horrid, awful crap on this public forum about a very fine individual.
I will remember all of the crazy non-sense people actually believed about Obama....I have lost all respect for Republicans....
How divisive and nasty McCain and his cronies are. How much he reminds me of Bush and his cronies. That McCain is a Bush crony.
Obama's ';I've traveled to all 57 states'; and ';spread the wealth around'; and all these losers who will never realize the terror of Obama's plans for this country.
that wheter or no obama wins this will be an election that everyone will remember because this is an election of change
OBAMA/BIDEN 08!

who cares bout MCCAIN/PALIN!
probably the history we made:

first black man to run

the oldest man to run

either way we made history and who ever wins i know in my heart obama is the better man

Obama'08
im going to remember how much of a groundbreaking election this was, and tell my future children about it probably.
I'll remember that it was the year Republicans ran a Democrat candidate on their ticket...and lost.
To answer your title question, I will remember how long this campaign has dragged on. I think that the Primaries and General Elections should take less than 2 months not over 2 Years.
I will remember McCain/Palin. They worked really hard and media was against them. If they win I will be glad.
The mass hypnosis of the American public performed by the mass media.
How many people were willing to vote based solely on what the liberal media had brainwashed them with.

McCain/Palin '08
If I forget something about this election, I'll go back to your question to remind me how ';informed'; the voters were.
Probably the fact that this race is so historic, and we really need someone decent behind the wheel.

-Obiden 2k8.
