Are now the ones whining about how he's backing off those same promises. Can you spell h-y-p-o-c-r-i-t-e-s?Don't you just love it that the people who disagreed with every 'promise' Obama made during the campaign?
Yes. They accused him of being a communist hell-bent on destroying America. Now that it's obvious that he's not, they're harping on crap like him smoking and whining about his birth certificate.
No matter what's going on, they'll find something to complain about.Don't you just love it that the people who disagreed with every 'promise' Obama made during the campaign?
I laughed so hard when I read your question. I think to some degree the financial climate of the nation has changed so significantly between the Primaries and the General Election to now that no candidate would have been able to continue any promises made during the campaign. The hypocrites you so eloquently call out are seriously talking out of both sides of their mouths, though. They disagreed with so many of Barack's campaign promises. Now that many of them are off the table for obvious reasons they're complaining that maybe they won't have anything to complain about. Yet, I've never once heard a conservative complain about how George Bush campaigned in 2000 on ';No Nation Building.'; Look where we are now, nation building in two countries and trying to get into at least one or two more.
I do find it highly hypocritical and I applaud you for calling it like you see it.
that would be faulty logic it i certainly possible to dislike what he said and still dislike him for the fact that he lied to get elected. Heck turn the tables. Isn't it hypocritical to vote for him for what he promised and still like him after he turns around and does the opporsite. I did not like him for what he promised and I love what he has done (since its basically the opposite). But I still dislike him because he is a typical politician who ';promise the masses their circuses and cakes to keep them appeased'; and then turns around and does what his opponent said had to be done :) Didn't he say it was time for a new politics too? Hmmmmmmmmmm... clearly some do not understand what the difference is between sound, unsound and valid arguements.
(Dogs have tails, that animal has a tail, therefore that animal must be a dog. Even though its a cat.... Your arguement follows that logic which is unsound)
I think you may be mistaken. We're not whining that he's backing off so many of his promises. We're laughing at you for the fact that you believed his BS enough to vote for him. Of course, it would have been nice if you'd have been bright enough to see through his BS before hand, but whatcha gonna do now, huh?
That would imply that we want said promises...which we don't. It just illustrates that once again, what politicians say they are going to do and what they actually do are completely different. Even in Obama's case.
Darlin'... it isn't whining.... it's laughing... Laughing at how he pandered to the Lib Left to get elected, when he was blatantly blowing smoke up your collective skirts.
What IS sad is that he had to resort to so much lying in order to get elected.
So much for change!
Actually, what they are saying is that he is a liar, and you guys who voted for him were duped. THAT, good buddy, is what they are saying.
And it isn't whining....it's CROWING!

I'm not whining. I voted for McCain but it seems Obama may actually govern from the center. I am warming up to him a little. Eric Holder is the only appointment he has made that makes me a bit nervous.
He's just a puppet for the Clintons. Have you ever seen a politician keep a promise.
If he doesn't pull a rabbit out of the hat, where will we be in four years. Think Mayan 2012
Yes. It doesn't seem to matter how foolish the contradictory statements are, only that there is something to attack him with. No credibility whatsoever.
I do love it-thanks for asking- but for different reasons than you..he's not even under pressure to meet his self established expectations yet
Amazing, isn't it? And the ones who said he was going to staff his cabinet with radicals are now saying that he's staffing them with right wingers.
WE WILL SOON FIND OUT HOW B. HUSSEIN OBAMA WILL TRULY GOVERN. I'M SURE THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF COMPLAINTS ON BOTH SIDES OF ALL ISSUES.
Whether one agrees with a lie or not, it is still a lie. Your logic is seriously flawed, my friend.
Barry got elected by proving he could fool the libs. They are all as intelligent as Streisand.
Obama is a joke !
Is it whining or is it ';I tried to tell you?';
