Has any president lived up to their campaign promises?

Seems to me everything was just false promises once they get into officeHas any president lived up to their campaign promises?
can't think of any! They promise lots of crap to get elected.

What scares me about Hillary or Obama is that they would fulfill one of their promises - raise taxes!Has any president lived up to their campaign promises?
Political aficionados say Presidents only accomplish about 1/3 of what they promise... and that usually doesn't happen in the first two years. So anyone who is expecting any health plan from any one of them is in for a long ride. But you can count on $5.00 gallon gas.
In fact Ronald Regan is the most recent President to live up to campaign promises. One of his most well known was to put the first woman on the Supreme Court. A year after in office, he did it.
Obama uses emotional appeal to get voters on his side. but when in office, it wont happen
Some things will be accomplished. It will depend much on how congess is seated. The Republicans had control of everything for several years and they did much of what they said they would.I find it somewhat amusing that people give Bill Clinton Credit for the economy being good in the 90s.I could have been president then and presided over a good economy. Most of the credit can be given to the .com industry.People worked, and made decent money so we had a surplus...when people dont work and make decent money we have a deficit.Such as we have now. What America needs to do is create industry with good paying jobs, then a tax increase will not be needed,if everyone is making a decent living they are paying more in taxes and we have a surplus again. The problem is the Republicans have created an environment where lots of people are working, but they are doing it in India,China, and Mexico, while our wages here are dropping or stagnate.Obama has proposed a cap and trade system on greenhouse emissions creating industry. No one else running has proposed anything to promote industry in this country.I would rather pay a little more tax and have a job,one that pays well then have a tax cyt and make barely above minimum wage.
There are things which could be permanent which would require neither a President or campaign promises The introduction of The Human Right to Peace into The Constituition by U.S. citizens and The Government. The Human Right To conserve natural resources in The U.S.A,

The Right For Humanity to own The Planet and conserve natural resources all of them. This right to be put in The Constituitions or equivalents of all nations. These cannot be given as an election promise. To avoid Resource Wars it is up to citizens to do what needs to be done.
Bildawg!

Gave us the best economic growth America enjoyed in decades, proving that conservative economics don't work!!!
Bill Clinton promised to fix the economy, and he did.
Yes, but the president cannot do what he promises. He is not in total control. It requires congress to back him. So, those who have lived up to promises had congresses approval. Some do not even address much of what he had promised others tried and failed.
Are last President (Republican) vowed he would protect Americans .Which is a Presidents first duty .And that is exactly what he did . The last Democrat President was a coward and was Impeached! Nothing changes!
